Award Designates Outstanding Customer Service

HOLLAND, Mich. – May 21, 2009
– LeanLogistics, a global leader for innovative transportation solutions, has been named a finalist in the Customer Service Department of the Year category for the 7th Annual 2009 American Business Awards. Winners will be announced during the annual gala on Monday, June 22 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

The American Business Awards is the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S. are eligible to submit entries to the ABA – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. More than 2,600 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories. LeanLogistics is competing in the Customer Service Department of the Year category.

“We are very proud of our Customer Service Department to be named a finalist for this prestigious award,” says Dan Dershem, CEO and president, LeanLogistics. “Our customer satisfaction surveys consistently show that more than 90 percent of our clients are planning to renew or expand their service and would be willing to provide referrals for us.”

Because of the continuous, service-based nature of the LeanLogistics business model, all employees are responsible for delivering exceptional service. With LeanLogistics, customers maintain contact with employees from the start, tailoring each relationship to best fit customers’ needs.

Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs will select winners from among Finalists in judging that will continue through June 3. Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April through early May.

“Despite very tough economic conditions, many organizations and individuals continue to perform well,” said Michael Gallagher, founder and president of The American Business Awards. “The results of the 2009 ABAs thus far are a testament to the resilience, creativity, and hard work of American organizations, executives, and workers.”
