President
Dan Dershem, President and CEO of LeanLogistics, is responsible for the overall business strategy and corporate leadership of LeanLogistics. Dan oversees the day-to-day operations of LeanLogistics as well as develops the executive strategy for business growth to drive maximum value for LeanLogistics' clients.
In addition, Dan Dershem, holds responsibility as Senior Vice President of Global Logistics, CHEP. Within the CHEP organization, Dan is responsible for the development and implementation of the global logistics strategy for CHEP, including global technology roll-out along with cost and service performance.
COO
Steve Pietenpol, Chief Operating Officer, is responsible for global technology operations, corporate vision, financial planning and analysis, business growth and profitability, resource allocation, as well as administering all functional activities related to finance within LeanLogistics.
Prior to joining LeanLogistics, Steve held various financial roles in the Automotive and Transportation sectors of the Manufacturing industry for nearly 20 years. Steve’s broad domestic and international experience includes FP&A, Business Advisory, and Controls and Compliance.
VP Research & Development
Chris Johnson, VP Research & Development of LeanLogistics, oversees all research and development activity at LeanLogistics and is responsible for the LeanTMS™ product roadmap. A LeanLogistics employee since 2004, Chris served as the lead technologist of several initiatives including optimization, LeanFleet™, LeanSource™, and LeanDex™ before taking his current role. With a background in computer science and mathematics, his unique approach to software development continues to drive LeanLogistics' technology solutions.
VP Business Consulting and Global Partnerships
Stacy Kannawin is Vice Present of Business Consulting and Global Partnerships for LeanLogistics. In this role, Stacy is responsible for providing TMS and supply chain expertise to the sales organization by working closely with prospective clients to determine the best solution based on business process, freight profiles and overall supply chain issues. Additionally, Stacy’s responsibilities include developing partnerships with strategic organizations across the globe to enable international growth for LeanLogistics.
Prior to joining LeanLogistics, Stacy held senior positions with supply chain consulting companies such as IBM and Ernst & Young LLP. Prior to consulting, Stacy was a practitioner with the Supply Chain team at Wal-Mart Stores working on a variety of supply chain projects.
Stacy has B.A. in Financial Administration and an M.B.A. in Logistics Management from Michigan State University. She is also a member of CSCMP.
VP Technology Operations
Eric Meister, Vice President of Technology Operations, is responsible for all aspects of customer technology implementation, post-implementation tactical customer support, strategic support services, and client services.
Prior to joining LeanLogistics, Eric drove operational excellence through the adoption of technology in supply chain leadership roles in best-in-class manufacturers and a third party logistics provider including the implementation of LeanLogistics' solutions. His experience as a customer helps drive a practical approach in developing innovative supply chain solutions.
VP European Operations
Mr. McMonagle is responsible for all the commercial and on-going operations of the LeanLogistics EMEA Team. He has more than 16 years of experience in the information technology field specializing in supply chain, multi-modal transportation and global trade management software. Prior to joining the LeanLogistics team, Mark has had various roles spanning consulting, regional services team leadership, product management and software pre-sales. Mr. McMonagle has a particular interest in 'international trade finance', 'supply chain sustainability', strategic procurement and 'risk management'. He is a member of CSCMP, the Irish Exporters Association and the Institute of Export, UK.
Co-Founder & VP of Sales
Jeff Potts, Co-founder and Vice President of Sales of LeanLogistics, is responsible for overseeing the LeanLogistics sales team to support revenue growth for all solutions provided by LeanLogistics. Jeff plays a vital role in the growth of the company through the ongoing partnerships with strategic client organizations while leading the global expansion of the organization.
Jeff has held positions in sales, consulting and business development during his past 29 years of experience in the transportation industry providing significant knowledge of diverse supply chains and vast industry experience. In addition, Jeff co-founded LeanLogistics in 1999.
Co-Founder & SVP Product Management
Rick Tucker, SVP Product Management of LeanLogistics, is responsible for global technology product strategy and product management. Rick’s role in creating product strategy encompasses expanding transportation technologies globally along with creating global solutions leveraging data accessible within the LeanLogistics Transportation Network for all network participants. In addition, Rick leads program management within LeanLogistics to ensure consistent process and proper control for all internal projects.
Rick has over 25 years of experience in applications architecture, product development, and business process consulting in the logistics, warehousing and transportation industries. In addition, Rick co-founded LeanLogistics in 1999.
Director of HR
Dan Broekhuizen, Director of Human Resources, strives to maintain and cultivate the culture of LeanLogistics, where "My Goal Is Your Success" is not just an HR initiative, but instead, is the core value that every Team Member is committed to, both internally and externally.
With more than 10 years in the talent management field, Dan has been actively involved in Team Member relations as well as coaching and development. Dan's experience in the manufacturing and service industries enables him to plan, direct, and coordinate talent management and organizational development activities to maximize the growth and performance of all Team Members.
LeanLogistics was acquired by Brambles in 2008 and became a sister company of CHEP. Both LeanLogistics and CHEP share a common vision of providing industry leading global Supply Chain technologies and solutions to their collective customer base. Since becoming part of Brambles, LeanLogistics and CHEP have transitioned executives between companies to support Brambles overall strategic vision. These leadership moves provide the unique opportunity to leverage the executives’ Supply Chain expertise while assisting CHEP in the utilization of LeanLogistics technology and services across the globe. The Logistics organization is made up of four key functions which include Logistics Execution, Logistics Planning, Logistics Services and Carrier Management.
Tim Hinson, VP Americas Logistics for CHEP/LeanLogistics, is responsible for approximately $1 Billion of transportation spend that includes CHEP Americas and the LeanLogistics Managed Services Group. In his current role, Tim oversees CHEP Logistics, a fully integrated logistics organization that makes transportation & technology a competitive advantage for Brambles and adds value to LeanLogistics customers by optimizing costs and service.
Enrique Garcia, VP EMEA Logistics for CHEP/LeanLogistics, is responsible for approximately 250 Million euros of transportation spend that includes CHEP EMEA. In his current role, Enrique oversees CHEP EMEA Logistics, a fully integrated logistics organization that makes transportation & technology a competitive advantage for Brambles and adds value by optimizing costs and service. Previously Enrique was the Director of the newly created European Central Planning team for CHEP and led the implementation of Forecasting, Planning and Optimization systems along with the centralized processes.
Chris Timmer, formerly COO of LeanLogistics, transitioned to the role of Vice President of Retail Sales, CHEP. Chris is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to leverage the collective platforms, technologies and solutions of the Brambles companies to drive value for the North American Retail & Third Party Logistics markets. Chris continues to work closely with the LeanLogistics team to develop technologies and solutions.
