Holland, Mich., – LeanLogistics, a global solutions provider of transportation management system (TMS) applications and supply chain services, was selected as Customer Service Department of the Year for the airlines, distribution and transportation industries in the fifth annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.
LeanLogistics was cited for its high customer satisfaction ranking (an average of 96 percent) in areas such as customer renewal, willingness to provide referrals and closed incident support. This is the third year that the Holland, Mich.-based company has been recognized. In 2009 and 2010, LeanLogistics was named a Finalist.

This year's Stevie Awards were the most competitive to date. More than 800 entries from organizations of all sizes in virtually every industry were submitted to this year's competition, an increase of more than 60 percent from 2010.
There were 25 categories for customer service professionals, including Contact Center of the Year, Award for Innovation in Customer Service, and Customer Service Department of the Year; as well as 40 categories for sales professionals, ranging from Global Sales Leader of the Year to Sales Training Program of the Year to Sales Department of the Year.
Members of the Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs selected LeanLogistics from among the Finalists. Finalists were chosen by business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging. LeanLogistics received the highest overall average score in its category after two rounds of judging.
